LAKE FOREST, Ill. — The Chicago Bears returned to the practice fields at Halas Hall coming off the bye week, and nearly every player on the roster participated in Monday’s workout as the club began preparing for Sunday’s road matchup against the Green Bay Packers.
“It was good to get everybody back,” Trestman said. “Our guys went right to work today.”
The Bears practiced with all of their key contributors in the fold, but held out linebacker Darryl Sharpton (hamstring), defensive end Trevor Scott (excused for family reasons), guard Eben Britton (appendix) and receiver Marquess Wilson, who is on track to return to the practice field in the coming days, but won’t play Sunday at Green Bay.
