KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Priest Holmes was inducted into the Kansas City Chiefs’ Hall of Fame at halftime of Sunday’s game over the New York Jets at Arrowhead Stadium, two weeks after his franchise record for career rushing yardage was broken by Jamaal Charles.
Holmes said if his record had to be broken, Charles was the one to do it. Both played in college at Texas.
“Hats off to him,” Holmes said. “Ex-Longhorn as well. We pride ourselves in [being] running backs out of Texas.
