Mark Sanchez latest in post-Donovan McNabb line

PHILADELPHIA — It has been five years since the Philadelphia Eagles had what most NFL teams see as a prerequisite for winning a championship: stability and continuity at quarterback.

That was in 2009, when Donovan McNabb was in his final season with the team. Kevin Kolb and Michael Vick were already on the roster that season, but there was no doubt McNabb was the starter if he was healthy. When the Eagles traded McNabb to Washington early in 2010, they began an era of uncertainty at quarterback.
