The Film Don’t Lie: Cowboys

A weekly look at what the Dallas Cowboys must fix:

Somehow the Cowboys have to get the passing game going. Brandon Weeden wasn’t effective replacing Tony Romo in a 28-17 loss against Arizona, but he wasn’t given much help by his receivers or the called plays. The Washington Redskins were able to limit Romo in the passing game as well.

Against the Redskins, the Cowboys had trouble with pressure. Against the Cardinals, Weeden got rid of the ball quickly and did not take his time through his progressions.
