Start taught Bengals’ Jeremy Hill patience

CINCINNATI — His running lanes were mostly closed, the holes virtually nonexistent.

It seemed the Cincinnati Bengals’ Jeremy Hill was going to have a tough time picking up yards in his first career start. Everywhere he turned, the Jaguars had his running avenues blocked. Still, the rookie’s stubborn offensive coordinator, Hue Jackson, kept calling for running plays. Each time he did, the back was handed the football before quickly crashing into a wall of defenders.
