KANSAS CITY, Mo. — I’ve had some time to digest the fact the Kansas City Chiefs are losing a 2015 home game. Their scheduled game against the Detroit Lions at Arrowhead Stadium will instead be played at London’s Wembley Stadium on Nov. 1.
The more I think about it, the more I think it’s a bad deal for the fans. Some random thoughts:
Taxpayers recently put $250 million into renovations of Arrowhead Stadium. It sounds to me like a slap in their face to ask them for big money and then yank a home game from them.
