Browns CB Joe Haden rises to occasion against Bengals’ A.J. Green

CINCINNATI – Joe Haden’s performance Thursday night against the Bengals -– specifically, A.J. Green -– was why the Cleveland Browns signed Haden to a five-year, $68 million deal in the offseason.

Haden flustered Green all night, finishing a solid four-game stretch after what some considered a sluggish start to the season (for his standards).

Haden always seems to get up for a matchup with Green, who had three catches for 23 yards in the Browns’ 24-3 victory and seven catches for 81 yards in the last three meetings with Haden.
