Ben Roethlisberger: Steelers’ coaches need to be sharper too

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Observed and heard after the Pittsburgh Steelers’ 20-13 loss to the New York Jets on Sunday at MetLife Stadium:

Ben Roethlisberger admittedly did not play well despite throwing for more 300 yards for the third consecutive game. But the veteran quarterback said the Steelers have to do a better job on the sidelines as well as on the field. Roethlisberger threw a pass to James Harrison in the fourth quarter from the Jets’ 1-yard after the veteran outside linebacker had entered the game as a fullback.
