Another historically bad half for Bears

GREEN BAY, Wis. — The Chicago Bears gave up a franchise-record 42 points in the first half against Green Bay on Sunday at Lambeau Field as Aaron Rodgers carved up the defense for six touchdown passes.

With 19 seconds remaining in the first half, Rodgers hit Randall Cobb for an 18-yard touchdown, with Mason Crosby tacking on the extra-point kick to make the score 42-0. Despite an extra week of preparation for Sunday’s NFC North showdown against the Packers, the Bears, in their second-consecutive outing, set a franchise record for points allowed in a half.
