Rapid Reaction: Philadelphia Eagles

A few thoughts on the Philadelphia Eagles’ 45-21 win against the Carolina Panthers at Lincoln Financial Field:

What it means: More than anything, this win means the Eagles will not fall apart without starting quarterback Nick Foles. Mark Sanchez had good and not-so-good moments in the game, but the rest of the team played at as high a level as it has since Chip Kelly has been the coach. Darren Sproles returned a punt 65 yards for a touchdown. Cornerback Bradley Fletcher returned an interception 34 yards for another score.
