It’s official: Browns WR Josh Gordon back ‘without restriction’ Monday

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon’s 10-game suspension for failing a substance abuse test will essentially be lifted the minute next week starts.

The NFL told ESPN via email that Gordon, arguably the game’s best receiver last season, can rejoin his team Monday morning.

“(He) will be clear to resume normal activities without restriction,” AFC director of football communications Jon Zimmer said.

The league originally suspended Gordon for a full season, but reduced the punishment to 10 games after reaching a new agreement with the third-year receiver.
