Vikings: Kyle Rudolph officially returns

CHICAGO — Kyle Rudolph is officially back for the Minnesota Vikings.

The tight end is on the Vikings’ active roster for Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears after missing the team’s last six games with a sports hernia. Rudolph had been shooting to return for the Bears game since he had surgery on Sept. 23, and he was listed as probable for Sunday’s game when the Vikings released their final injury report on Friday.

He is listed as the starter on the Vikings’ depth chart for Sunday’s game and should get plenty of opportunities against a Bears defense that has allowed more touchdown passes than any in the league.
