Larry Fitzgerald becomes 2nd youngest to pass 12,000 receiving yards

GLENDALE, Ariz. – With a 22-yard reception toward the end of the first quarter, Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald became the second-youngest player in NFL history to reach 12,000 receiving yards.

At 31 years and 77 days, Fitzgerald was ahead of Jerry Rice (31 years, 333 days) and trailed Randy Moss who hit the mark at 30 years, 306 days.

But Fitzgerald, who had two catches for 33 yards in Sunday’s 14-6 win over the Detroit Lions, doesn’t pay much attention to his records.
