Several former SEC players listed in top 5 position rankings a month away from the NFL Draft

Just a month remains until the NFL Draft on May 8th.

Georgia and LSU remain as the only SEC teams that haven’t hosted their Pro Day for scouts, and several players’ stock has risen because of their Pro Day performances. The biggest riser is Johnny Manziel, who had scouts buzzing about his workout, and Auburn’s Dee Ford and South Carolina’s Jadeveon Clowney also had big-time Pro Days to help solidify their stock. Most project Clowney to be the No. 1 overall pick by the Texans.

Manziel has largely become the top projected quarterback in the draft, and the SEC has solidified defensive end, with Clowney, Ford and Kony Ealy as the top three.
